Island club taxi is not only convenient but accommodating. Admittedly, the inside of #2 is looking a little worn these days, but if that's something that you feel may impact your enjoyment, there are plenty of other houses to choose from. "

"Ok. Satisfactory for a fishing trip but not for a family trip. The couch is horrible. The place smelled of cigar smoke. The lights were missing light bulbs. Pots and Pans not organized. Traps and trash around outside of unit. Only 2 chairs on porch."

" We stayed for 2 nights during the week. The property was overall nice but needs some updating. The bathroom had a large tub that we could not take a bath in due to their not being a plug. Needed some updating as well. There is no where to hang up clothes and and iron would have been nice. It was 83 degrees inside when we arrived and it took 8 hours to cool down. "

If you are a family you would like it there and if you are with friends it still a nice location because it's out a ways but all you have to do is call a cab for a ride downtown. All in all it was a great vacation at Put In Bay!!"

"This was our first time staying at an Island Club property. We were traveling with my daughter and her family. The three bedrooms worked out great and it was nice to be able to spend time together in the kitchen and living room. Overall we were very pleased with the house. We were in #2 which was just inside the driveway. When returning we’ll probably request something further back so we aren’t listening to traffic in/out of the complex. A few suggestions for future guests; bring kitchen towels, napkins, hand soaps, shampoo, etc. The things you take for granted when staying at hotel properties. Now that we know, we’ll be better prepared next time. The house was fairly clean; but could use a serious good scrubbing.

A couple items for management; the toaster wasn’t working, the shower in main bedroom needed a good scrubbing, especially the mirror and frame beside bath tub. The ceiling fan wobbled and made a creaking sound.
We really enjoyed our stay on the island. The Putt-putt course nearby was very challenging. Our favorite restaurants were the Boardwalk and the Keys. The Heinamen winery was a really nice place to hang out while sipping wine. "

"This was an awesome place to stay. It was clean, in good condition, and easily accommodated 8 guests. Not too far from downtown, and the resort had its own friendly taxi service that could get you a ride in less than ten minutes. Management was very kind and courteous, I would recommend to give this place a stay!"

"The rental was fine. Some of the furniture has worn or torn areas. Silverware drawer needs repairing. New stove needs proper cleaning solution provided so it will last longer and stay nice. Appreciated someone blowing the Mayflies away in morning."

"Our group had a great time staying at the island club. There were a lot of other fun groups staying in the same location so we met a lot of great new people. The place was very clean and had everything you'd want in a vacation home (full kitchen, lots of bedrooms/bathrooms, washer/dryer, etc). The only downfall is that it's about a mile and a half from the downtown area of put in bay so it would be a pretty long walk. However the taxi service is very convenient and is much safer than walking or driving if you've been drinking. Overall I would definitely recommend the island club and I plan to go back in the future. "
