Island Club 4-Person Golf Cart #07

I recently rented this golf cart as one of four in a group, and while it got the job done, it definitely had its drawbacks. It handled all the basic needs — getting around was never an issue — but it was noticeably the slowest cart out of the bunch. This became more apparent when trying to keep up with the others on open paths or inclines.

The brakes were another weak point. They worked, but didn’t inspire confidence, especially when coming to a quick stop. That said, the cart was reliable overall and served its purpose for short trips and simple cruising.

If you’re looking for a basic, no-frills ride that will eventually get you where you need to go, this one works. But if speed or responsiveness matters, you might want to look at other options.

This was my first stay with island club but I will definitely be back. It was nice and relaxing. The pool was in walking distance. I also used the grilled. For a quiet night this is the place to be. Sit out and look at the stars. Early morning on the porch was amazing. Best stay I have had on the island so far. Try it you won't be disappointed.

I loved that the golf cart employee came to me to give the carts. The stay was perfect, and we had everything we needed! Check in and check out was very easy also.

My family and my close friends family stayed for two and a half days in this condo was perfect for us. Very cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend and we are certainly staying again next year.

This is among the friendliest places we have ever stayed from start to finish. We got there just before a storm came in. We met Kevin, local business owner, he helped us get a taxi and let us stay out the rain on his outdoor patio even though they just closed up for the day. Later we went back when they were open and I found some really good jam I ended up bringing home.
The cabin we stayed at was spacious and comfortable. This was way better than any hotel room, if you’re going to stay on the island more than a day and you have a group this is the way to go. We didn’t have any issues with the cabin, having dealt with the staff when I was getting the rental set up I believe any issues would have been taken care of promptly.
We didn’t do everything we planned on doing for various reasons but we all had a good time. Unfortunately the monument was closed and we could not go up to the observation deck. Perhaps next time.
We also reserved a golf cart along with the cabin and I would recommend doing that as well, sure there are a lot of places on the island to do so but you won’t beat the convenience.

Island Club staff

Our accommodations were very nice and much larger than expected. My sister and granddaughter enjoyed the pool which was very clean. Everyone was polite and eager to make our stay pleasant! I will return soon��

Island Club staff

The house was cleaner than in previous years. However: the staff did not respond to the two things that were brought to their attention. One was about the closet in one bedroom not having a clothes hanger pole, nothing to hang clothes on!!! the other was only a request so I wont go into detail.

Love the cabins, the community, the pool area is so fun and they deliver the golf cart to you and pick it up. We go every year, stay at island club rentals, and look forward to it every summer! Might even start making a fall trip as well!
