Island Club 6-Person Golf Cart #76

Our family of 5 stayed in Cabin #6 for 4 nights in late July, and had a great visit to PIB. The Island Club is an easy drive into downtown and the cabin very comfortably slept everyone. We were very pleased with the comfort of the beds! The location is steps from the pool, which was great for us. The soft seating in the main room was great - honestly it’s hard to find rentals where our whole family can hang out in the same room, so that was great. The kitchen is basic but new and clean and has all the supplies you need. The grill seemed brand new and was so nice to have. The w/d unit was in great shape and worked well. The critiques we have are of the primary bedroom shower and the finishes. The shower in the primary is dated and kind of in I’ll repair - there’s a hole in the wall near the shower head and the drain is uncovered (my kids wouldn’t shower in there bc they were afraid bugs would crawl out). The faucet and shower head are pretty ancient, contributing to the ick factor. The sink drains also struggle a bit, with water backing up in the sinks. The finishes aren’t a big deal in that they don’t impact your comfort in the cabin. But things like I fished floor edges, missing baseboards, patched and spackled holes that haven’t been painted over contribute to the rundown vibe of the space. It’s just cosmetic but left us feeling like it wasn’t as nice as maybe the “fully renovated!” description implied.

Overall it was a nice place. I was happy with the items needed for us to cook and have coffee and love having washer dryer. The bathrooms were dirty walls and especially by the showers. The cleaners need to us a brush to get the mold and dirt. The bathrooms need major upgrades and the mattress covers are old and had stains the bedspreads are very old but we knew to bring our own bedding so it was fine. The closet is full of construction items all a mess in it. The back porch was very small and could use a good cleaning. And it was very small for our big family. I also had to wash some of the windows. They had heavy dirt spots all over. The place was very nice besides these few things I mentioned. We enjoyed our cabin and would stay again. The price was a little high for the quality of the bathrooms and patio and windows not clean at all. But it was very nice besides these few things as I have said. Loved having the two golf carts it was very convenient. Thank you.

We called ahead and booked our golf cart rental for 2 nights. Everyone was very helpful and nice. It was a quick and easy process from pick up to drop off.

It was very nice. Even though it does sleep 12, there was not enough seating in the family/living room for 12 people. Also, the bonus room, which has 2 couches could use to have a television in there or what is the purpose. Also the bedrooms could use a television.

The condo was just as pictured and described. We made great use of the deck. The AC was set to a perfect temperature. We all really enjoyed the condo. Our only issue was the pool bar was not open as stated.

Great property and community. Easy to rent from. Only complaint from the entire trip was the fact that the floor was so dirty - our feet were black 30 seconds after we took our shoes off. But otherwise fabulous!

We rented a 4 BR unit at Island Club that we were fortunate to find last minute. The staff was great and assisted us through a few issues we experienced with great kindness and courtesy. The unit was clean and well equipped for our stay. It was in a great place tucked back in the corner and the complex was quiet and safe. Really enjoyed our time and the people.
