Put-in-Bay Island Club #101

We had a group of 12 renting cabins 101 and 102. Cabins were clean and had a tremendous amount of room. Very affordable. The taxi service was prompt, and affordable. We didn’t realize when we booked the trip that it was during the block party, so that was a welcomed surprise. The island club rental neighborhood has a great atmosphere. The propane grills worked great for our group. We will be returning to visit again!

I use to stay on the Island years ago and then a friend of mine convinced me to start staying mainland for the past years. With this being a second that I took my boys I figure I wanted them to experience the Island. No need to say any more, we'll be back to stay on the Island from here on out! Loved the living room furniture. Had a little bit of a funny smell but not annoying. My son had a great 30th bday stay and Paul was amazing! Would stay here again.

Overall the experience was very good. Cabin was clean and ready for us upon arrival. the only negative to our time there was the group at the end of the road. they were very loud and reckless when they were driving their golf carts. they were hanging off the carts and one time saw one of them riding on top of the cart as they were driving down our road.

We were very happy with our cabin. It was clean and pretty well maintained. The manager was always very helpful if there was a question. We would recommend this property to our friends and relatives. We were surprised there was not a broom, but I didn’t need one either.

This was our fourth time staying with Island Club and we enjoyed every minute of it as usual. Crowds were down about 50% due to the Covid 19 Pandemic and we did practice social distancing and wearing masks. There were not as many people wearing them as there were back home in Indiana. We did the usual activities on the island such as Putt Putt, golf carting, charter fishing and swimming in the pool that we always do and everything was open. The restaurants were closing early though and finding a good meal at 8 pm at night was pushing it. The grocery store in town was very low on supplies, but we brought plenty of them from home. We liked our unit, but the two queen beds were actually 2 full beds. If there could be one improvement on the unit it would be more comfortable furniture. It is pretty much wore out. Overall though the unit and time on the island are a very good value for the money. We stayed from Sunday afternoon through Friday morning.

We all had a wonderful time staying at #101 Island Club Rentals..Fully stocked with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable..We did have an issue with the dryer knob, I emailed maintenance and with 15 minutes he was there & fixed the problem! We will definitely come back in the summer!

Wasn't a good location for a person with a fall risk. Uneven floors in living room and too many beds in bedroom. my brother fell while trying to maneuver between the twin and double bed in the bedroom. Changed him to the master to prevent further falling.There was room for 11 to sleep but only 3 forks. We picked 8 up at the second hand store and donated them to the kitchen. Overall the experience was good.

The cottage was homey and located right when you entered the Island Club area which made it quicker to get to the downtown and surrounding areas. The unit was spacious and there was plenty of room for activities. The deck was big and it was nice to be able to grill outside. Overall a good experience! I would recommend this unit to others.

Sunday to Tuesday relaxing time with my sisters. The pool area could be maintained better. The fence is covered in spiders & webs. It was a holiday weekend, the pool itself could use a skim & vacuum. You are in the woods so the mouse in the kitchen on our way out wasn’t a deterrent.

Booking was easy, the staff gave great reminders on payments and information about the stay. Upon arrival Dottie was amazing and got our place ready ASAP for us even though we knew we were early. We love the island club taxis, so convenient and affordable. Coco pomps was our main man all weekend and so prompt to pick us up! The quality of #101 was not worth the money we all spent for 2 nights. We won’t be staying in the houses again. Last year we stayed at the condos which feel much cleaner, well kept and much larger than the house. The pool at the condo is much more spacious and actually has bathrooms instead of portable bathrooms. I love the island club but would recommend the condos not the houses.

This was our third stay on the island and the second time with Island Club Rentals. Our stay was Monday through Friday morning but we wish we would have booked the Sunday before also. The unit was 101 which was up front by the entrance and very convenient to get in and out of the complex. The unit was clean and the five of us had plenty of room. We cooked several of our own meals both inside and outside with the gas grill on the deck. There were some missing kitchen items like large mixing bowls and a colander to drain pasta but we made due. The only real complaint we had was one bedroom listed the beds as Queen size but they were really full size. We rented two golf carts from them and staff brought them right out to our unit shortly after we arrived. Night life in town is very pricy Beers are $5.75 each and dinners can be real expensive. Ask the locals about happy hour and dinner specials. Some had $2.00 bottled beer during happy hour and steak, shrimp, potato, salad for two for $30. Getting on and off the ferry with vehicle was a breeze during the week but they were lined up bigtime to come over from the mainland Friday morning. My son and I went on a 4 hour walleye charter with two others for $100 each. We caught ten north east of Kelly’s island. Definitely worth the money to get out on the lake. There are no sand beaches on the island. Overall we had a great time and will definitely be going back in the next five years or so.

This was our third visit to Put in Bay. It was our friends' first visit and fist with an AirBnB. Great location close enough to walk to town. Pool was great and accomodations were excellent as well. Will be back. Wish we had more time there.

Stayed with friends and had a great time. Everyone was friendly in neighboring horses. Horse was accurately described and in good condition. AC worked great. Had Clint maintenance issue and they responded quickly and fixed it right up

I've stayed with Island Club twice before, most recently in June of this year (2017). We weren't able to get into the property until 5 or 10 minutes after the 4PM check in though, because the cleaning crew was still finishing up. Once we got in, the property was really quaint and well-kept. Just enough space for my mom, sisters, and me. Close to the entrance, which made it really convenient too.

We have stayed in a hotel several minutes from downtown for the last 15 years. This year we were going with friends and it was very affordable to stay in the cottage. This was our first experience of staying in the cottage and we would do it again. There is golf cart rental on the property which made it very convenient to travel to town and around the island. The cottage was as shown in the pictures. The location was quiet and comfortable.

We had a blast but our house was not ready to go. Whoever stayed there before us put visibly dirty plates back in the cupboard. Every one of there crumbs and all.
The pool water was pretty gross but I can't blame you too much since it was packed all day and didn't notice many people getting out to use the restroom.
My entire party had a great time hanging out and would be open to stay at this property again since it's cheaper than most other options.

I can't think of anything bad about this place. I've always had clean and furnished cabins with several bathrooms, a full kitchen, living area, several bedrooms and couches! The grill is always nice to have, and I absolutely love having a patio or deck. The atmosphere is amazing! Everybody is nice and having a lot fun but under control, and the employees are laid back but also keep everybody safe. This was my fourth year back and I will continue every single year

We had a great time. Everything was fine with the house, only issue was with the microwave. The door sticks and you have to mess with the section that you push to open it to get it unstuck. Was ok after we figured it out. LOL Other than that, everything was great.

My husband had never been to Put In Bay so I planned a couple day trip to the island to show him around. I had never stayed at the Island Club and was very excited to give them a try. The Cabin was lovely! 3 bedrooms, 2 bath rooms, a very nice living area with decent sized kitchen. They supplied pots, pans, utensils, pillows, comforters, toilet paper, etc. All we had to bring was linens for the bed and towels. The location was quiet and a short ride into town. Unfortunately our trip was cut short due to the possibility of the ferry not running because of strong winds. We ended up leaving a day early. Jerry and Connie were very accommodating to our situation and I cannot speak more highly of the service we received while stay with Island Club Resorts.

Very comfortable cozy Cabin, with just about everything we needed. The Maintenance guys were very helpful,courteous and prompt. The only down part was that the TV went out during an afternoon rain, It came back on when it was all over. One of the guess said they should have Time warner cable, then we wouldn't have this problem. Next time I'll stay longer than two days, was just not enough time. Overall it was great.

Our group of girls had a wonderful time in put in bay. The house was nice and relatively clean upon arrival. While the inside was a little older, it had everything we needed. The neighborhood was fun and there were lots of people out to meet. The transportation was awesome and made it very easy to get downtown. If you are looking for granite counter tops and a completely updated interior, this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for a relaxed, comfortable place to stay with friends this worked just fine.

No doubt we had a blast and our Island Club home was a great spot for us. Dottie was extremely nice and professional and maintenance came over twice very fast to take care of issues. Bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner on arrival. This would not deter us from renting here again.

We had a good time! Location was good, just a short ride on the golf cart to downtown! Cabin was nice enough. The fridge handle was broke :-( and there was a drawer missing in the kitchen..kinda janky. Rugs in the kitchen and bathroom would have made it feel more "home" like! Otherwise all was good.

It was our first time in Put-In-Bay. The Island Club was a great place to stay. The pool was a great place to spend some time. With the golf cart transportation, it was easy to get into town. The only thing I did not like was the amount of furnishings in our home. It was to sleep 8 and we had 7 in our group. There was a small breakfast area that seated 4 and the living area only had a couch and 1 chair. We had to sit on the floor. I would however return as we had a great time!

Initial impression: Garbage out in front of rental unit and master bath damaged wall by shower rod.Beds that were supposed to be 2 Queens were very short in length. No dressers, no towel racks in bath rooms.

The only things left to be desired were some more kitchen/cooking materials. There was some things to cook and serve with but they were scarce. I can understand because people are coming and going and it is a more nightlife oriented property - However it was rather inconvenient. On the other hand there were a ton of wonderful things that I'm not going to list because it would take up to much time. Its easy to find the few things that were left to be desired but it was well worth the money. Reserve you cottage early though as they do fill up quick.
