Put-in-Bay Poolview Condo #1

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at the condos and both times they have exceeded my expectations! They provide a clean, comfortable stay & have always been available to answer any questions. I can't wait to go back!

Wonderful space! Very quiet, and super clean. A birthday week to cycle, drink espresso, and eat fish was perfect. The pool was lovely and the location is outstanding. Any questions or issues were addressed immediately. I would definitely book again!

The only issue we had on the entire trip was the information provided in the application that I was prompted to download to make my stay easier. The app said that bath towels would be provided, but you needed to pack beach and pool towels. I have screenshots of all the information, either way it was a great stay, we just had to get creative with the towels.

Everything was fantastic except there were no fish cleaning facilities at this condo. I was told to use the Island Clubs fish house and it appeared to be taken down already as I never found it. I had to pay another location to use their fish house for the 8 day stay.

THis wasa last minute rental for a quick vacation to Put-in Bay. THe unit was nice and quiet. We didn't hear the neighbors. The pool was a welcome break in the afternoon. The do alow you to rent the towels and bedding if you don't feel like bringing them with you, which we did. I would recommend this place.

We noticed a lot of wear on the unit this year. Kitchen cabinet barked were loose, front bedroom closet doors were off the track and jammed up. The towel rack in the smaller bathroom feel off the wall ! Both bathrooms could use more towel racks.
Unit was very clean, just seems like a lot of small things haven’t been addressed.
Parking was a problem again.... it seems golf carts like to take up the car spots, leaving us to park way in th back. Even there, someone parked a truck with a trailer attached, sideways taking up a ton of spaces! Very annoying!

Four of us had a great time in this Condo#1. Very roomy, with a full size, very new kitchen. Two comfortable bedrooms, one with an adjoining bathroom; the second slightly smaller bedroom used the bathroom in the hall. Dining table, Living room, great TV. The washer and dryer were handy. Our only complaint would be that although the unit, including the kitchen and bathrooms, were very clean, the floors were filthy. They had been swept clean, but not washed. Our socks were black by the first night. Great, fun place to stay, pool was lovely, grounds were well kept. Would stay again, hopefully not having to wash the floors.

Overall pretty good. Probably could do better cleaning the condo. Found some dirty panties on the floor between the bed and wall. And a dirty footprint in the shower stall on the seat where I'm imagining somebody was having sex with dirty feet.

Kitchen is very nice and modern, we hung out in there most of the time we were home. There is plenty of room in the open floor plan kitchen/ living room area. We loved the pool. Island club taxi service was only $3 a person to take us anywhere on the island. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. One of our closet doors was off its hinge and just leaning up against the other closet door, and there was a giant spot in the wall in the other bedroom that was a different color than the paint. It looked like maybe they had to patch up a giant hole of some sort. Those were the only two things a noticed. Great place to stay!

We stayed here for a bachelorette party with 8 girls. It was spacious enough for everyone to be comfortable. The place was clean and in good condition. The location wasn't too far from the downtown area, but definitely wouldn't walk it.

We had a very nice stay. Great Pool, quiet location away from the activity of downtown, but only a few minutes by car or cart. A few things: since they added more condos, they've closed off the bedroom window in master bedroom, to get to the beach/water you have to walk around the new condos & it's very uneven, but may get remedied when construction finished, internet service beyond poor, same with Verizon cell. Condo was reasonably clean, but our shoes stuck to tile floors & our socks were black as soon as we stepped on them, so we mopped when we got there. Overall, we would go back if we go again.

Surprise! There are new and old condos....we got the old condo!!!! Make sure you ask when you book. Otherwise, you can't go wrong staying here. Anything we needed, we just called. We wanted them to come and reclean when we checked in and they did. We needed a hairdryer and they let us borrow one. I was a little alarmed that they used "foreign exchange students" to clean. I was told by locals that this is legit, but it still didn't sit well with me.

The property is in a nice location right up along the edge of the island. The interior has nice features such as ceramic tile, updated appliances and countertops.
During my stay there was a construction project. The pool had been completely removed.
The construction company ran a backhoe directly outside my condo on the end towards where the pool used to be and a parade of dump trucks across the property from before 8 am until around 6 pm each day.
I called the manager the second day I was there and they offered to move me to a different unit. All the units face the same direction and were in front of the path of the dump trucks so I am not sure that would have been much better.
If you are thinking about staying there you I would recommend finding out if the construction is still going on when making your decision.
I stayed there based on the online reviews that described it as relaxing. I did not find full days of construction noise and vehicle traffic to be relaxing.

We really enjoyed our stay at Put-In-Bay condos.Condo could of been cleaner the bottom of the shower curtain was covered in mold.Really disappointed about dock area it was surrounded by trash and had to walk over loose rocks to get on it.weeds where growing out of dock.All of these issues could be resolved with a little more effort.Over all would probably stay here again.

We had a great time and the Island condos are awesome. A couple of small suggestions to improve the facility:
1. Place pavers at the entrance to the pool. The dirt/mud get tracked into the pool area as well as the condos.
2. Purchase new resin chairs and a table for the front of each condo. The chairs that remain are in bad condition and there are not enough for each condo.
3. Clean the area down by the dock. The view is amazing but the trash (rusted wire fence, trash, etc.) around the dock ruins the experience.

Overall, we were very please with everything.

First of all it was a little hard to find the property even with the address since there's no sign or mailbox visable. We recognized the Condo's from the app otherwise we wouldn't have found it. Second there were some issues with a window missing part of it's frame and being stuffed with paper towels on the side. This was reported but nothing was done during our stay. WiFi wasn't at our location which was confusing.

Everything was wonderful!! We were pleased with the size and comfortable feel of the condos. There were a ton of bugs and little flies inside the condos. We did fill out on our checkin in that the one bedroom in condo #1 had a hole in the screen and so many bugs were coming in. We also tried to replace the batteries of the smoke detectors and when we checked an Island Club employee removed them due to the non stop beeping sound. We were a little disappointed the pool was not filled to lay by. Otherwise we loved the location and condos. Jimmy at island club taxi was amazing!! We used him multiple times everyday and he was always there within minutes and friendly. Thanks for a great stay at the bay!

I and the rest of the people who stayed with me loved our visit in the island condos. I know for a fact that I will have to come back to the island one day. There were only two problems, the key the gave us to get into the house didn't work, and the pool was still empty all weekend. That being said, the property was beautiful and I would certainly consider staying there again.

Overall the accommodations were very good and worked well for our group. I rented 2 condos that accommodated 6 guys. Unit #1 had TV trouble where the screen would just turn black even though you could still hear the program. I sent an email to my contact and the next day someone was there to look at it. Unfortunately he wasn't able to fix it so he had Directv come look at it and he determined it had to be a problem with the TV. So our entire stay we had trouble with it and I hope they get that TV replaced for future guests. I would also suggest they provide more cleaning tools since they put the cleaning requirements on the fridge that we are supposed to leave it as we found it which was perfectly clean, but there was no broom, dust pan or cleaning liquids to use. There was a mop & bucket but again no pine sol or anything else to use. So I don't have any issue cleaning but please provide the tools to get it done.

Condo was clean and fit our needs overall, but was surprised there was no soap, hand towels or dish towels. We ordered sheets and towels for an extra $100 dollars. No hand towels? And how can you expect guests to wash dishes without a dishcloth and towel? Also, the pool was locked ALL day Saturday b/c the security guard never came to unlock.

We really enjoyed the location of this condo. It's very relaxing on the lake. The private pool was great during the day. We rented a golf cart to get us into town and took cabs for $3 per person at night when drinking. I highly recommend this condo for any group looking for a nice getaway.

The actual rental was nice, although it could have included a few more household items. There were many cigarette butts outside in a few places, the property was dirty and clearly unkept, and the person/number that was displaced to call for concerns, as well as to rent a cart didn't call me back our entire stay. There was not a sign, so it was difficult to find the property, no actual parking spaces, and instructions for check out were different each time I received them.

This was our second stay this summer in this particular condo. The guests I brought were impressed with the location, grounds and appearance of the condo. Definitely would recommend! We all loved the fact that it was located on the water and sitting on the dock in the morning with a coffee and the sun shining was very relaxing. The condo was clean and the grounds were well manicured and the pool and surrounding area were also clean. Will be returning next summer!

We are a group of women (family & friends) who have been going to Put-in-Bay every year for over 40 years. It has grown from 3 women to 44 women! I believe this year was one of the best times we had!!! We had great customer service. We used the mobile app to ask for more paper towels, garbage bags & toilet paper and they were, as they say, on it! The only "complaint" would be outdoor lighting, there wasn't any. It was really dark when the hard core partiers came back from town. Other than that everyone loved everything about Island Club Rentals!!!

Overall our stay was very pleasant on the island. This was our first time on the island and we loved the atmosphere. The pool area was nicely maintained and Dottie accommodated our requests. I would have liked the condo to have been cleaned better. It was not cleaned well at all. The floors were pretty dirty. At one point I saw a cleaning staff go into a condo unit after guests had left and it took him 15 minutes to clean the entire unit. YIKES!
The beds were not comfortable at all. I felt like I was sleeping on springs. We were given a quarter bottle of dish soap and 2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 adults and 2 children plus an infant. The grills were caked in grease and not cleaned and only one of them was working. It was also odd that on the website it showed a fire pit which was enclosed by stone yet when we arrived, there was only a pile of logs. Trucks were also dumping old mattresses right by the "fire pit" which made for an eye sore.
I was also told that my condo faced the lake when I reserved the property but it did not face the lake.
We made do with our own supplies but I feel like there should have been a couple serving bowls, a strainer, or larger platters in the kitchen. Those are all items that could be purchased cheaply to furnish a kitchen and make it easier for guests to cook in the kitchen if staying a week, like we did.

This is the second year in a row we have stayed in one of the condos through Island Club Rentals. They have really great customer service and have gone above and beyond for us. The condo is at at great location where you aren't right smack in the middle of the busy town, but you are close enough to get to everything. It's great to have the pool to yourself and only the other condo guests. I would recommend the condos or any other rental through Island Club Rentals. They are great!

Property was clean, well kept up, maintenance staff attentive (they were there every morning taking care of property and pool). Condo was clean and up to date, appealing to the eye. Location was excellent, liked being on the water. Good amount of outdoor space available to be outside and play lawn games and no fighting for pool chairs. Glad our condo had a pool dedicated to just our condo guests. A few minor inconveniences were that cooking and bakeware was very minimal, there was no dishwasher soap for the automatic dishwasher nor any laundry detergent and more than one extra roll of toilet paper would be nice (6 females for 3 nights require more than one extra roll). You should either provide the dishwasher and laundry detergent and more toilet paper or state in your advertisement that it is not provided. We visited Perry's Monument (beautiful view), Crystal Cave (world's largest geode - very interesting), Perry's Cave (also very interesting), Heineman's Winery (good wine), and of course bar hopped at night. Overall, had an excellent weekend and all of the guests in our condo enjoyed the location and accommodations.

The condo was really nice. Nicer than I expected. The window frame was rotted out in one of the bedrooms which allowed bugs in. I assumed management was preparing to install a new frame. Other than that, the property was awesome!!! I would DEFINITELY stay here again, but plan on renting a golf cart for the weekend as it is a good distance from downtown. The taxi service was awesome and was quick to get us to where we were going or picking us up when needed. (Thanks Tony) Patio was really nice and people were grilling out. Definitely a great place to stay!!!!

Our group greatly enjoyed the amenities of this well-furnished condo: beautiful patio with gas grill, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fabulous kitchen. The location on the lakeshore near the airport is both easy to find and tucked away in a quiet corner. We arrived out of season, but the pool looked excellent. I do not believe it had wifi, but, again, we stayed out of season. Excellent choice for a school group like ours, or for 4 or more adults (4 queen beds). Highly recommended.

Our condo had a beautiful view of the sunrise over the lake in the morning. Nice location. Clean and bed were comfortable. I forgot to bring kitchen towels and dish rags but substituted hand towels and wash rags. We loved our stay and would like to bring others to this quaint island next year.

the only complaint that I have was that someone broke in late at night while only my cousin was in the condo and she called management but no one returned her phone call so she had to alert the police I wish that there was a screen there in the window where the gentleman was able to break in and also my friend called later to try to contact somebody just to let management know that, that happened and no one ever return our phone calls... :-/
