Put-in-Bay Poolview Condo #4

The condo was clean and well stocked. The couch was a nice touch, leather sectional with powered recliners. The pool is the best pool. All other pools wish they were this pool. The sides of the pool under the water have a bench feature that you can sit or walk on the length of the pool. Both ends are shallow with a 5 foot max depth in the middle, well maintained and perfect for young or new swimmers. Very common sense rules. Staff was so friendly and professional. The island itself was the best vacation our family has ever had, vouched for by all. Came for a birthday. Will come back for life!

The condo unit was in very nice shape, well maintained and had very comfortable beds. It was outfitted with nice televisions in two of the three rooms. We very much enjoyed our stay here and we are glad we selected to stay here rather than some of the other companies rental properties that had bad reviews, and only catered to overly intoxicated Young people.

We rented this condo and shared it with another couple. There was plenty of room and the unit was clean and convenient. We enjoyed the pool and the golf cart rental located on site. Located halfway from the Ferry to downtown it was only a few minutes from all the restaurants and pubs.

Finding our way to this property was easy and only a short five minute drive from the ferry. Check in was simple as was finding where to pickup the keys for our golf cart rental from the resort. We found the room adequately sized; we are a family of five with children. The bathrooms were adequate but the “master bath” was VERY small. The walls are paper thin allowing you to hear everything from our neighbors above (including when they came back from the bars at two AM). The washer and dryer in the unit was full sized (a nice surprise) and the kitchen had just enough dish ware for a family of six. The dishwasher is VERY LOUD so plan accordingly. There was only one tiny potholder so cooking was a challenge and there weren’t any dish towels. The unit was clean and there were no problems with anything other than a very sensitive smoke detector that we called maintenance about. Parking was fne and the area was quiet since the airstrip is right Nextdoor (no air traffic at night because the air field is not lit). The pool is small, but fine for cooling off after a day of activity.

Easy reservation. Real, live, easy-to-understand, helpful people answer the phone if you need anything before or during the stay. Golf cart rental was easy and cheaper through the condo. Plush furniture. Pool was clean, big, lots of chairs. Grounds were clean and landscaped nicely. Close to many things. Far enough away from downtown to be quiet at night as long as you don't have jerks above you fighting and yelling until 4am one night! We got through it.

Overall great experience! The island is lovely! Beds very comfortable and unit had everything we needed. A rug by the front door would have been nice as the tile floor was slippery when wet from the rain/pool. Toilets sat a little low for those with mobility issues. Management was extremely responsive when we had small issue with the shower.

This was the 2nd time I stayed in Co do #4 and again, it did not disappoint. Location by pool, tables outside, and close proximity (but not too close) to town easily accessed by gf cart. Would definitely consider on next trip to Put-in-Bay.

A little disappointing as we had rented a 4 bedroom unit with a lake view. due to flooding we were moved to 2 separate 2 bdrm condos. Same cost. While we were thankful to still have rooms available not having the lake view created a very different experience. The middle cushion of the couch was sunk in and could not be sat on comfortably.

We are so sorry that you could not have that Waterfront Condo you first booked. With all the lower unit being flooded because of the storm, we had to move everyone out and into other units. The whole process has been very hard, stressful, and upsetting because we want all our guests to have an amazing experience. Honestly it's the best place to rent if you plan on staying in Put In Bay. The only complaint that I have is that the sink was clogged and the floors were very dirty and one of the closet doors was broken. I called to let them know and they did send a maintenance man to try to fix it but it was still broken. Unfortunately I was still charged a fee. The place is otherwise great to stay at because it has a great kitchen and cozy living room. The bedrooms were perfectly separated and the sheets are soft to sleep on. The pool is the best part of the stay. Very clean pool and perfect temperature to swim in. Overall I was satisfied with my stay.

The condo was clean,comfortable & well maintained. Items provided were as described in property description. The only improvement to detail is in the lighting. A light bulb was burned out in the dining room fan/light and also the kitchen fixture. Master bath lights above mirror were very dim. Attention to these easy to fix items would add sugnificantly to a first & lasting impression.

Decided to spend our 30th anniversary on the island!. Rented Put-in-bay condo #4 and found it a great value. Rental process was easy and follow up from management was great. Staff was friendly and accessible. The condo was as described on the web site. Over all was very clean and comfortable and had several updates in kitchen and bath. Easily accessible and layout was great. Condo was close to the pool which we pretty much had to ourselves. Condo was away from downtown which we enjoyed but we rented a golf cart which was great for getting around and seeing all the sites. We would highly recommend this property. Only issue was the dishwasher was out of service but we had plenty of options for eating out and did not need it. Management made note of it and I have every confidence they will repair it. Property needed some paint touch ups and furniture showed wear but understandable at the end of the summer season. TV was difficult to maneuver and find any channel we could watch. Overall a very nice stay for a couple of days and we would return in the future.

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was very nice and in a great location to downtown Put-in-Bay. I did call with concerns that one shower did not have a drain in place. I explained I was heading out for a little while and would be back in 30 minutes if maintenance came there was no way of knowing since I was out. No one called back to check if problem had been fixed and no one returned later that day. The tiled floor looked clean but when I went to wipe up a water spill the paper towel was black and we noticed if walking barefoot the bottoms of our feet were black. Despite these minor issues we enjoyed our stay and will stay there again next time we return to Put-in-Bay.

The rental was great, except it lacked coffee (which they explained there wouldn't be) its a beautiful place but I had to rent 2 nights to stay and the island shut down that same day. We ended up leaving the next morning. They were nice and let us rent a golf cart and didn't charge for it, though. I didn't realise the island shuts down in October so unfortunately a waste of time. Again property was great, clean rooms.

We were impressed with Put in Bay condos. These are new condos that are off the main drag about a mile which made it great for my family with kids. We went midweek and will come again. The pool was nice. No crazy partiers like I was worried about. It was odd to be required to bring sheets. The golf cart rental was great to have but we were disappointed we couldn’t pick it up till 4pm and still paid for a full days rate. We had to rent a second cart that day when we arrived at 11am which doubled our costs. Would wait until we got to the island to rent a golf cart next time. Overall, will come again but just thought those were important points to mention.

The coffee maker was not clean and had grounds in it and there was dirt in the corners of the bathroom. Checkout was at 11, but the cleaning staff started to come into the room at 10. No knocking or announcing themselves, just walked in, twice. This is off of the road which was nice, but there was no sign by the road to let you know you were there. We passed it, but GPS indicated that should be the driveway, so we turned around and tried it. Otherwise, this was a wonderful place and a wonderful experience! Nice pool too!

The shower only put out cold water so 5 girls had to share one bathroom for showers and in the bathroom with good shower, the toilet handle was broke so u had to adjust it for it to work!!! Room 4!!! When sir kicked on in the bedrooms it smelled of mildew!! The pool was great and the kitchen was clean!!

It was a good weekend, close to the pool across the Parking lot. Then Lake Erie was right behind the building! Very clean building and the golf carts are all right there to pick up after you have reserved them. The condo had its own taxi service which is a huge help! And the taxi service is really cheap which helps! Overall great experience

We only had a few things with the Condo, certain the floors were not mopped. Our 2 year old Grand baby's feet and our socks were black on the bottom. I couldn't find a mop or I would have done it. I also wished there was some way to lock the door from the inside, grandbaby kept opening the door and trying to run out. WE had to stick a table knife in the door. We really loved our first time visit to put-in-bay and definitely would stay at the condos again.

It was really nice location. There was a few issues, when we woke up Saturday morning our living room room floor was covered with water and we had no idea where it came from. I called the supervisor and a maintenance came over very quickly!! We were talking to some of our neighbors and they were having problems with the air and bathtub leaking. They are very nice condos, but maybe they should be looked at before someone stays.

Everything was very nice. I would like to suggest that you add internet access to the amenities. I am a student and I had to post home work for a couple of days while on vacation. It would have been very nice if I had internet access at the condo. Please add this information when people are making reservations. Internet is one of my priorities when I am on vacation because I am a student.

Unit was in a great location far enough from town but near enough for a short golf cart ride. Unit was spacious and pretty clean with most amenities provided. It's set up to accommodate 8 but I believe that would be a crowd. We had four in our party and we were comfortable. September weather was unusually warm, we would have liked to use the pool but it was very dirty. Pool clean up crew came by but only cleaned the pool a little bit before hitting golf balls into the lake. We did not bring it to managements attention due to our short stay. Condo was pretty clean but it could use some off season TLC.

First off , I want to emphasize that the condo itself was beautiful on the inside and just as pictured. It had all the utensils and equipment we needed on our 4 night stay. Also, the location on the condo being on the water was great! But there is a reason the don't show you the shore line in the pictures on line. It was disgusting. We went over to the shore which has a little bit of sand and a small concrete pier. There was a bag of bird corpses sitting there!!!! There were beer cans and trash everywhere. Now I don't know for a fact if this small bit of property is actually owned by the condos but it was absolutely disgusting. The view was great though if you could get past the dead animals I guess.

Our biggest complaint however was the noise. Every morning at 8 am , a VERY loud power washer and cherry picker were directly outside our window, spraying and painting the roof. Every time we wanted to open the window , there was a worker on the other side (which was pretty creepy on a few occasions) . This was every single morning. The last day we were there, the noise was topped off by a lawn mower outside of our window, kicking up ricks that I thought was for sure going to break the window (it did not). I went outside to check on our car, which I saw being subjected to a hail storm of rocks as well. I did not see any damage luckily. If we could've slept in at least once , our vacation would've ten times more enjoyable. I'm hoping next time a large project like this is scheduled, it would be on your off peak season and not while there are still guests. Our upstairs neighbors were also very distraught and actually got a free night after complaining (they're cable didn't work as well).

And please do something about that sack of dead birds! So disturbing!

Number 7 unit had trouble with the air conditioning on the first day. I call the office and they got it working on the second day. Dottie handled everything like a pro, and gave us a good deal on the golf carts for the next day. I was very surprised to find our deposit in the mail in just a few short days. The only thing I could find wrong was the floors and counter tops could have been cleaned a little better. Everyone was so friendly and easy to work with. Got to know our neighbors while we were there. One guy gave us a case of Bud Light. What a guy. God bless him.

We are a group of women (family & friends) who have been going to Put-in-Bay every year for over 40 years. It has grown from 3 women to 44 women! I believe this year was one of the best times we had!!! We had great customer service. We used the mobile app to ask for more paper towels, garbage bags & toilet paper and they were, as they say, on it! The only "complaint" would be outdoor lighting, there wasn't any. It was really dark when the hard core partiers came back from town. Other than that everyone loved everything about Island Club Rentals!!!

Our stay at the waterfront condos was excellent. Great location with beautiful view of the lake. Perfect distance from town, for a family vacation. The condo was clean with plenty of room and had all the amenities of home. My only complaint was no access to WI FI. I would have gladly paid a little extra to have internet access--a real must when you're away from home.

The website says you can have a fire on the beach. When we did we were harassed by security and then by the owner. Apparently they don't read the website for their own management company. I was forced to extinguish the fire after the owner was abrasive to me in front of my friends and kept threatening to keep my security deposit. Tv is difficult to use. They force you to hand wash dishes by not supplying dishwasher soap .

We love staying at the condo's. It is great to have a pool. and the access to the water.
The remodeled condo look incredible.

There were a few minor problems but were promptly solved. TV reception was really poor most of the time. Overall it was a lovely place to stay and we would stay there again

Great location, renovations are very nice.
Condo has the necessities you need. I only wish we didn't have to bring towels! That's a lot to carry up the ferry hill!

Everyone loved the location, the outside grilling/picnic area and especially the fire pit. It was the perfect location for a large familty reunion!

Stayed in two condos #3 and #4 between twelve people and found the condos to be very clean and neat. The condos were awesome plenty of room to include nice showers and bedrooms. The pool was great, it was nice to have the pool to our selves. Thank you again.

While our actual vacation was bad. This place was great. Very nice and calming. I do have a few complaints to warn future travelers. It's a pain to bring your own sheets. Although its nice to know who's stuff you're sleeping with. Also there is NOTHING to watch on tv. With completely rainy weather we had to stay in a lot. There should definitely be wifi or an abundants of tv channels. Lastly there was construction going on and I had a baby who had to take a nap everyday. The place was beautiful though. Oh and check the pool for snakes.

8 of us stayed in the condo. We cooked out both days. The only think I would say is it would have been nice to have more paper towels and hand soap in the bathrooms. Condo was nice, new, clean and awesome!

We were worried about staying in the condo at first since it was just out of town however it was the perfect location. Just far enough away but close enough for a bike ride to the hub of town. The large maple tree was the perfect spot to sit and enjoy the breeze from the lake.

Maintenance was awesome and the grounds were clean and well kept. If we ever return this is certainly the location we will stay at.

The condo was clean, spacious and had everything we needed.
