Put-in-Bay Waterfront Condo #210

This was our first time to Put in Bay, we were not disappointed. The island is charming, the islanders friendly and helpful, the homes and resorts very pretty, the food delicious! We stayed at the Island Club Rentals about 1 mile from the ferry one way and 1 mile from town in the opposite direction - all very walkable. Our condo was charming, very clean, the rooms set up to sleep multiple people, two full baths, a well supplied kitchen and beautiful decks overlooking Lake Erie. our 2 thoughts for the owners, add hooks in each room to hang clothes, towels, etc - there is no storage in 3 of the 4 bedrooms. The bathrooms also could use additional hooks for towels. The coffee table in the livingroom would be better if you could raise it up to a level = to the bar stools. It rained heavily one evening and we had to sit on the floor to play cards and games - at age 65 - 73 it was hard to sit on the floor to play games. So we rate this a 8.5 out of 10. Also the rental company was super helpful and very friendly.

We enjoyed our stay. It would be nice if there were more towel racks in the bathrooms. We had six people in our condo, but there was room for two towels in each bathroom. Also for the rooms that have closets, you should at least have a bedside table for each bed and somewhere to put your luggage.

The condo has a beautiful view of Lake Erie from two spacious balconies that overhang the water. It is large, comfortable, and nicely furnished. The kitchen is quite well equipped for cooking and the pool and grounds are maintained meticulously. Everything went smoothly regarding our check in and pickup of our golf cart rental. We were thoroughly satisfied with all aspects of our visit.

Our condo was wonderful! The property was clean when we arrived. Good customer service from the condo to golf cart rentals! The pool was also very well maintained and clean!

Very comfortable with 9 people in one condo. Waterfront has great views, and have towels and linens provided. Need a golf cart but plenty of parking and a quick jaunt to anywhere on the island. Not sure how "rowdy" the pool area gets in summer, noone was there when we were there. Booking was a little obnoxious having to sign contracts and sifting through a bunch of emails, like your actually renting a place instead of just booking a hotel, then an app to download. Only thing you need to checkin is the door code. Process could be WAYYYY more streamlined, but once you're their everything is smooth and nice.

Great time. Electricity went out on the island so our beginning trip was a bit challenging. Love the condos but are starting to have some wear. Comfortable beds. Love the deck on the water the most and the pool is great too.

Liz, After the storm, the island did lose power temporarily. There is a full-time Ohio Edison staff member on the island during the summer and power was able to be restored within an hour, which we were grateful for. Exceeded our expectations. Beautiful views from two balconies. Very clean. Kitchen didn't have a lot of pots and pans- so if you are planning to cook a lot, would recommend bringing your own. Overall, beautifully decorated, beds were comfortable, and clean. Would recommend, plenty of room to spread out. Golf cart or car is a must to go into town.

Staff was exceptional. Went above and beyond to make out stay a great experience. Condos were clean and spacious.. we had 8 adults and a child and plenty of room.. views were breath taking, coffee in the morning on the decks my favorite.. We will be staying here again.

We stayed at this location for my going away party before my move out of the state! It was spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, and overall an amazing place to spend with friends. The views from both decks were breath taking. The pool was a nice place to cool down and relax. Definitely would stay here again! Amazing spot!

It’s was a really nice place, great quiet location for young families. The view of the lake was great and the pool was nice to cool off. The grills were great to have access to we used them a couple times... The place was decorated well with nice furniture and beds. Loved the decks on each floor with great patio furniture to hang out in. We will come back...

The condo was perfect, and in the perfect location. The taxi driver Tony might have been one of our favorite parts of the weekend, he was awesome! Security watched from a far Friday night as a man followed us girls to our room and began pounding on our door, the security officer was at our door before we even had a chance to call them. A HUGE THANK YOU for that, as we had 10 girls staying in our condo, it helped to make us feel safe!! The fan in the living room was barely attached to the ceiling, very unsafe to be turned on, and the baseboards could have used a good scrub, but those are my only tiny complaints. Overall it was a fantastic place, great location, clean(besides the floors), comfy beds, great staff, I would absolutely stay here again!

Everything was great except for the elevator. For the second year, the elevator did not work for at least part of our stay. It would have been OK if not for two of our group needing it. Aggravating.

Booked this condo for a bachelorette party weekend - it was a huge success! We are in our early-30s and wanted somewhere we could have a fun time, but feel safe and get a good nights sleep. :) This was the perfect place! Everyone loved the condo, especially the waterfront balcony and nice sized kitchen. Everything was clean, nicely decorated and there was plenty of room. Getting a taxi to downtown was easy and we never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes. The manager, Tony, was welcoming and made sure we had a great stay. Would definitely book this place again on a return trip.

The condo was great! Way bigger than what we had expected. The deck was the perfect touch. Everything we needed was provided. Very short taxi ride to get to all the major bars and restaurants on the island.

I could not have asked for a better set-up than the waterfront condos. Very spacious with a beautiful view. It was also great working with the transportation arrangements, never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a ride. Would definitely come back!!

From the front, this place did not look like much, and I initially had reservations about it. However, the condo units are extremely nice -- gorgeous views of the lake, and very nice kitchen and living room areas. Only criticism is that the bedrooms are sparsely furnished -- they could use dressers for clothes storage, and also trash cans in the bedrooms. The staff is very responsive and helpful.

Great condos about a mile from downtown! We rented two of them for a bachelor party and everyone was impressed with how nice the places were. Between the two condos we fit about 20 guys comfortably. It was super easy to call a taxi/bus to grab us to get downtown or to the ferry, though between the pool, grills and waterfront balcony we could have stayed there all day. It was very easy to rent and then check in and out when the days came. If we ended up going to Put-in-Bay with a big crew again, this would be the place to stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Condo was great. Great balcony over looking Lake Erie. Decorated very cute and beds very comfortable. Pool was great not over crowded and able to get a chair. We rented on 2nd floor, nice not have no anyone above us. Couple suggestions, kitchen could use baking sheet, hand towels and wine glasses, minor things overall kitchen was great. Getting into town was easy. Rented a golf cart too and that was great to see the island by golf cart.

Very nice. Realizing that the unit was new there could have been actual furniture in the bedrooms. A night stand or a dresser to put things on. There were no hangars in the closet. Everything had to go on the floor which we were not excited about.

This condo was beautiful and the view was incredible. There were a few things missing from the condo, such as dressers, hangers, wastebaskets in the bedrooms but I am hopeful that is because it is still a work in progress. The site states to bring your own bed linens but each bed had linens. They also provided towels for 6 people. My only major concern was the flooring outside of the condos. It was VERY slippery when wet and several of our guests almost fell. This definitely needs to be addressed! Overall, it was a great condo and we will be back!

The condo was very nice and clean, nearly brand new. The view was lovely. Rooms pretty plain and didn't have anywhere to put your clothes or TV's, which was odd. The grounds looked very nice and you can see they will be really nice once construction is finished. Limited parking was a problem.

There was still a lot of construction going on but we were very impressed with the quality and care of our condo. It was spotless and very comfortable with spectacular views. We would love to come back when the pool and construction are completed.
