Located on Catawba Avenue, Perry's Cave Family Fun Center is the perfect place to head on over with the family to round out your day. There are so many activities and things to do right here, that you won’t need to go anywhere else. Start out exploring Perry’s Cave, a natural limestone cave lying 52 feet below surface level. Their knowledgeable guides will take you on a 20 minute tour, interacting with you along the way. Next, hit the Rock Wall, Butterfly House, Gemstone Mine, or play a little War of 18 Holes miniature golf, where you’ll not only have a great time, but learn a little about the War of 1812 where Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry helped aid in the victory of the Battle of Lake Erie.
Dad will enjoy a stop into the Antique Car Museum, which is free to the public and houses the islands oldest automobiles. Here he’ll get to see rare Model T’s, vintage snowmobiles and all kinds of gasoline and road sign memorabilia. If you happen to visit on a Sunday, there’s even a town antique car parade with all kinds of cool vintage automobiles and lots of fun and candy for the kids.
