We came for a quick getaway, really like location of house in regards to close to both boardwalk and South Bass Island State Park which we used to kayak and paddle boarding. House was cleaned and set up was nice except that the 2 sliding doors really needed maintenance. Otherwise, I would recommend to a friend or relative.

5 guys in a 8 person cabin fishing for walleyes 7 days. The cabin was perfect for our needs. We will stay there again next year.

The management staff was friendy and terrific to work with, which made our stay easy & worry free. The unit was very clean, comfortable, adequately furnished and in a great location. So much better than being cramped up in a motel room. Additionally, we rented a golf cart and they brought it to our unit.

The Island Club provided the perfect atmosphere for my best friends bachelorette party. There were always taxis around to take us to the boardwalk, and the house was pretty clean when we got there.

Island club staff were all friendly and helpful. Pool was very nice and not far from cabin. Close to downtown but far enough away where you could come back and relax. Highly recommended!

This was a rustic property which had plenty of room for 6 - 8 people. The host supplied the bedding and towels which was very nice (most of the properties in Island Club Home Rentals apparently do not). The management staff was very accommodating.
This area is for families with older children or groups of young adults which worked well for us but may not for all families as there are bachelor and bachelorette parties going on.
There are very clear rules about quieting down after 10 - 11 PM and these were followed by all of our neighbors.
The house had a very nice large screen TV (we were too busy on this fun island to watch television but it was nice to have one just in case of a rainy day).
It was about a mile from the main drag but Island Club called ahead and let us know so the golf carts we rented were waiting for us at the property when we arrived.

This was another year very satisfied renting from the Island Club. Everyone is very friendly, helpful, and easy to contact. The house we rented was perfect for my group. We will definitely stay here again next year.

We rented both 51 and 53 and what a great time! The houses were equipped with everything that was needed for a long weekend of fun! The only thing missing was a iron, besides that the houses were well-maintained, and clean. The island staff was very friendly and they were very helpful in ensuring our stay was comfortable.

2 miles from downtown, not walking distance. Cab was only $3/person though! Property was kinda costly for what it was. Conditions not very clean but overall a great stay!

Overall it was a decent place to stay. It would have been nice if there were ice cube trays in the rental. The exhaust fans in the bathrooms pushed air in and not air out of the rooms. It would have been nice if they worked correctly to help keep the bedrooms cooler at night.

When we first arrived our unit looked very clean, however after walking on the floors in white socks it was apparent that the floors we swept but not mopped. The patio furniture was also in need of a good scrubbing. Other than those two things it was great. The bathrooms and bedrooms were very clean, the beds comfortable. The complex is in a quiet area of the island so we weren't disturbed at night. We really enjoyed the pool.

The "complex" is nice and well maintained. Our unit was nice from the outside, but inside it was very dated and dingy. The French door did not lock and was held in place by a stick, in general the inside was just very old and dated and had a very poor paint job. Extra mattresses and pillows were stuffed in closets.

This was our first time saying on the Island and will certainly be coming back to Island Club! The cabin was very well maintained and honestly although nothing spectacular, it blew our expectations out of the water. Within minutes of arriving they came around to greet us and answer any questions. Cabin was clean with the exception of a little mold on shower curtain and laundry left in the washer. Will be coming back.

We went to the Island club for my bachelorette party and had a blast! The house was super clean and had everything we needed! Whenever you need a sober ride the cab drivers for The Island Club are FAST and friendly! We are planning our next trip there already! My deposit check was mailed back to me right away!

The properties appear to need maintenance: screens are missing or torn, appliances aren't in the best condition, blinds are falling apart, etc. The cleaning crew could do a better job with window sills and the tracks of the sliders, used water bottles were between the bed and the wall. There was a mayfly hatch while we were there & apparently there is a hole in the rental somewhere because the floor was covered with mayflies in the morning. The staff were very responsive in replying to phone calls. I left the recommendation to a friend as a 'yes' but I'd definitely tell them the property is very useable but not in the best condition.

Overall, I felt like I was going back to college. The house was sufficiently furnished and decently clean, but I would never bring any children to island club. There were many bachelor and bachelorette parties going on and that would be the perfect venue for those parties. I would say it was a little over priced for what was provided but I guess you can expect that since it is put-in-bay.

Heck of a deal this rental was. I planned a bachelor party for my best friend and we were not disappointed. The rental was perfect for our group of eight. Very easy and convienient. We will be planning a return trip. Trust me, if you're on the fence, take my word and book the trip to Island Rentals at Put In Bay.
