Annual Pyrate Fest Weekend at the Bay
Pirates invade Put-in-Bay’s downtown harbor for over 10 years in a row on Friday at 4:00 PM to open the Put-in-Bay Pyrate Fest. Saturday is a fun-packed day for the kids and adults alike with a Pirate Parade wandering around the park downtown and a Costume Contest for both kids and adults. The best adult costume wins a trip to the Cayman Islands! Pyrate Fest Planned Events A Pyrate marketplace and displays A kid’s fun fest Black powder firing demonstrations. These will happen every day of the event, so you can be sure to check them all out! Sadly, the infamous Cardboard Boat Races have ended. Discover many fun pirate events such as reenactors demonstrating sword fighting techniques and the art of skullduggery. Kids can practice with foam swords too! Eat Like a Pirate There is so much tasty grub on Put-in-Bay Island, you will not know where to begin. Head over to The Boathouse for delicious food and drinks. You will have so much trouble choosing what to eat, you may just have to come back. The seafood is particularly good. Smoked fish spread or Jamaican Jerked shrimp, anyone? The Put-in-Bay Cup (Soccer Challenge)
The Put-in-Bay Cup is a highly anticipated island event and is truly the essence of a soccer party. The tournament offers a great time on and off the field for players and fans alike. 6v6 Soccer has been running this soccer challenge for over a decade and it's become quite the popular event. The tournament is played on a smaller field, with two teams of 6 players each. The tournament is organized into various divisions for men, women and coed teams. You can register for the division that most matches your skill level, so there is plenty of fun and competition to be had for all. Register for the event today before it fills up! Also, make sure to reserve your rooms in advance, they will book up fast. Players come from all over the United States and Canada to compete. There will be players from Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, West Virginia and Canada ready to dominate on the field, so bring your A-Game. Annual Put-in-Bay Jeep Invasion
Bring your Jeep up to the Bay to show it off! There is a scavenger hunt, and the Jeeps will be joining the weekly antique car parade. Schedule of Events FRIDAY: Get on the Ferry early! 4PM drone photo at 1351 Langram Rd, Put In Bay, OH 43456 Meet & Greet 5-8 PM light dinner will be served as you pick up pre-ordered T-shirts and goodie bags. Shelter House 1 at the campground. South Bass Island State Park. 4 grills available if you want to cook something else too. SATURDAY: 10:00am-12:30 Show N Shine at Heinemans Winery. Volleyball Battle on Put-In-Bay
Put-in-Bay is home to one of the areas best volleyball tournaments. Each year hundreds flock to the island to see if their team can match up with some of the tough competition. There are both competitive and fun leagues to satisfy the desires of all. Upon arrival competitors are invited to the Sandbar at Adventure Bay for registration and for a welcoming party. Starting in the morning on Saturday, the best of the best are ready to bump, set and spike their way to victory. Annual Labor Day Bash at the Bay Weekend

Annual Put-in-Bay Road Race Reunion
The Put-in-Bay Road Race Reunion pays homage to the races that were held on the island from 1952-1959 and again in 1963. These races, sponsored by the Cleveland Sports Car Club, were held on the roads of Put-in-Bay and consisted of over 100 small bore race cars. The drivers were all amateurs, giving those who wished to try out racing an opportunity to do so. Incredibly, there are no accounts of drivers or spectators being injured during the duration of the races. Now, to bring some of the original adrenaline back into the equation, racers compete on the grounds of the Put-in-Bay Airport. Spectators line the fence surrounding the strip and watch the cars whiz by. The roar of the engines can be heard reverberating across Put-in-Bay. This event is a must attend for the season. The number of cars has grown immensely over the course of the years of the reunion. The checkered flag will be waiving at the Annual Put-in-Bay Road Race Reunion, join in on the fun. Annual Island Oktoberfest
Oktoberfest returns to the Bay in 2024! A large tent is setup in Derivera Park. Many of the islands establishments have food tables with a variety of German specialties. Pretzels, cabbage rolls, bratwurst, sauerbraten, wiener schnitzel and more are sure to delight. There is also a beer truck with local offerings, German favorites and domestic brews. Be sure to grab a commemorative beer stein to remember your great experience. Those attending can purchase an entrance ticket that is good for both days of the event. Polka bands and dancers will be present and putting on a spectacle that cannot be missed. Halloween Boo Bash at the Bay
The last hurrah before the end of another amazing season on Put-in-Bay. This is by far one of the best kept secrets of the Midwest.
